My best friends' favorite caliber is 7mm Dakota but I will shoot any caliber in a pinch. I bought it at the Turners in Benbrook and he said they have 17 in stock at the warehouse. My best friend Marco says his favorite caliber would have to be a 7mm Dakota.
I got my Savage 7mm Dakota at the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Benbrook. One issue is if you're a hunter, the ring or the lanyard on the Savage Model 111 can snag on a branch or even your own clothing and possibly pop your receiver cover off. His favorite rifle is the 7mm Dakota I picked up online at the NRA store. There is a new edition of my new Savage Model 111 with the rosewood chambered in 224 Weatherby Magnum and 7mm Dakota. Marco got his Savage last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Benbrook.
