My favorite rifle is everything made by Weatherby. I got my Weatherby in the hunting section at Gart Sports in New Paltz, Florida. My favorite rifle is my new Weatherby Mark V CFP with the tigerwood chambered in 7.32 x 39 and 7mm-06. My all-time favorite hunt was for pronghorn antelope in Wyoming, but my favorite trip was fishing in Alaska.
My friends and I like the 7.32 x 39 best for deer hunting. For deer hunting I like the Burris 2.75 Scope better on my Weatherby Mark V CFP, and I'd be willing to bet that it's a bit more robust than the Leupold.
I bought the rifle at my favorite sporting goods store in New Paltz. One issue when shooting the Weatherby at small steel targets at 70 yards was the 7.32 x 39 bullet got there too fast. My Dad's favorite caliber for deer and larger game is 7mm-06 and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 7.32 x 39.
