The best sporting goods store in Idaho is the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Babbitt. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Savage.
My mom got her 7 Mag online at Cabelas. My favorite caliber is a 270 Win, with the 7 Mag close behind. For deer hunting I like my Savage 116FFS because I never had a major issue and have had them shoot well out of the box.
Our favorite rifle is the 7 Mag I picked up online at the NRA store. My Dad's favorite caliber for the average hunter I would say the 7 Mag for best caliber and the 270 Win for the best cartridge. Denver said his favorite rifle is the Savage 116FFS I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Babbitt. My favorite gun is a Savage 116FFS with a 7 Mag barrel.
One thing I don't like with the Savage 270 Win is that it can't be reloaded until all the magazine rounds have been expended. Denver got his Savage last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Babbitt.
