For deer hunting I like the Weatherby Vanguard Compact a lot because the rife its cambered in more than anything else. Our favorite rifle is the 7mm-06 I picked up online at the NRA store. One drawback with most 7mm-06 calibers is that you can't buy factory ammunition.
My friends and I like the 270 JDJ best for deer hunting. My favorite deer rifle (when hunting in South Dakota) is a 7mm-06. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Weatherby. My Mom's favorite caliber is the 7mm-06 hands down.
I ordered my Weatherby Vanguard Compact in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Teterboro, South Dakota. I got my Weatherby 270 JDJ online at Cabelas. My all-time favorite rifle is the Weatherby Vanguard Compact I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Teterboro.
